Check text extraction
This feature helps the administrator to check the text extraction process.
It can check the extraction process based on:
- Document to be processed
- Document UUID (see tab properties when the document is selected in the general application user interface).
- Document path.
- Document outside application (choose a document from the file system to upload).
- List of available text extractors.
Check text extraction
- Choose a document to be processed
- OpenKM document:
- Fill in the document UUID field or the document path.
- External document:
- Choose a document from the file system to upload.
- OpenKM document:
- Choose one text extractor from the list of available text extractors.
- Click on the Check button.
After the process is completed, it will show the text extracted by the selected text extractor.
The text extraction process can take a few seconds or minutes, depending on the size of the document to be processed and the file MIME type.
