Error in Windows with thumbnail creation

Symptoms

Thumbnails are not created and an image with a big red cross is shown.

Cause

There is a problem with the PDF to image conversion, possibly caused by an error invoking the "convert.exe" utility.

Diagnosis

Take a look at the "openkm.log" file and look for an error like this:

Solution

In this case, the problem is a missing DLL and it can be fixed by running the "vcredist_x86.exe" installer.
