Backup health check

If you wish to test your backup, the quickest way is to first install the OpenKM application on a development server, for which you have an installer available. It is important to ensure that you install exactly the same version of the application in order to guarantee full compatibility once the data has been restored. Once the development application is up and running, you must restore the database backup and overwrite the repository files (except for the .system.key file) on the new server. This process must be carried out with the OpenKM application stopped.
