Languages

The application can work with several languages. Here are the language term definitions.

Translation status

The "en-GB" translation is used by the application as the default translation.

Sometimes translations are not fully complete and some terms are missing. The "en-GB" translation is used to identify which terms are missing and how many.

When a term is missing in another language, the "en-GB" term is used in its place.

The en-GB translation cannot be removed.

Create a new language

  • Click on  the new language icon.
  • Fill in the fields
    • The ID must comply with ISO 639 (2 levels).
    • Language name
    • The icon should be 16x11 px.
  • Click on the Create button.

Edit a language

  • Click on  the Edit language icon.
  • Change the fields.
  • Click on the Edit button.

Delete a language

  • Click on  the Delete language icon.
  • Change the fields.
  • Click on the Delete button.

Edit language translations

On the top right, the translations can be filtered by key.

  • Click on  the Edit language translation icon.

By default there are three modules that indicate where translations are used:

  • frontend (used on the frontend)
  • mobile (used in the mobile view)
  • extension (used on the frontend by extension modules)

Two key properties cannot be equal.

  • Change the fields.
  • Click on the Edit button.

Export language translations

  • Click on  the Export language translations icon.
  • The application retrieves a SQL file with the language translations.

Import language translations

Download your language package from Language translations.

  • At the bottom right choose a language package file.
  • Click on the Add new translation button.
