Profiles

Profiles are a set of user interface configuration parameters. They help administrators set the available interface features for each user.

For example:

  • Restricts the user interface, hiding search and dashboard tabs and almost all toolbar buttons.
  • Restricts the user interface, showing only the search view.

The application, and especially the user interface, comes by default with several features and extensions.

Not all users need access to everything, especially at the beginning when a lot of features can cause confusion for the end user.

Our suggestion is to go from fewer to more features as a natural process of learning the application.

Profiles are shown in a table structure.
