Smart Forms is a web application to design forms and publish them to your users. When a user fills in and submits a form, Smart Forms creates a new document in OpenKM from a template, with the submitted values stored as metadata.

How it works
Section titled “How it works”- In OpenKM, create a document template with its metadata (property groups).
- In Smart Forms, create a form choosing the template (source) and the destination folder (target).
- Open the form in the designer and add the fields, mapping them to the metadata of the template.
- Publish the form. Users fill it in at /smart-forms/form/{id}.
- Every submission creates a new document in the destination folder, with the values filled in by the user as metadata. See Using forms.
