General section

Name |
The name of the profile. Two profiles cannot share the same name. |
Active |
Sets whether the profile is enabled. |

Advanced filters |
Enables search filtering on the users and roles pop-up view. Helps to find roles or users in a large list. |
Web skin |
Sets the default skin (CSS styles applied). Info message |
Print preview |
Enables or disables the printing function. |
Keywords enabled |
Enables or disables keyword shortcuts. |
Upload notify users |
Shows or hides user notifications on the upload popup. |
Notify external users |
Enables or disables sending notifications to external users. By default, the application is restricted to users' email addresses. For example, sending documents to an external email address. |
Increase version |
When enabled, users can choose whether to upload a document as a minor or a major version. |
Add document title |
When enabled, documents have an extra field named title. A title is shown:

Show events notification |
When enabled, the user is shown a pop-up message sent by the application. Common notifications:

Thumbnail visible |
When enabled, a thumbnail is shown on the desktop in search view. This feature can decrease the application's performance. For more information, see Performance configuration parameters. |
Sent Mail Storage |
Sets the default mail storage location. Available options:

Quick search visible |
Show or hide the top-right quick search in the UI. |
Recursive security change |
Enable or disable the checkbox for applying security changes recursively by default. |
Copy related information |
Enable or disable copying attributes when creating documents from templates. |
Extensions |
Sets the enabled extensions for the profile. |
Reports |
Sets the enabled reports for the profile. |
Workflows |
Sets the available workflows for the profile. |
Property Groups |
Sets the available property groups for the profile. |
Wizard section
The Wizard only takes effect when uploading a new document, not when updating an existing one.
If an automation definition is present, these parameters have no effect.
The automation feature covers these cases and more.

Metadata |
Sets metadata that will be required as part of uploading a new document. |
Workflow |
Sets workflows that will be executed as part of uploading a new document. Some workflows require initial fields to be filled at the beginning, but not all. |
Keywords |
When enabled, the application will ask the user to add keywords as part of uploading a new document. The user can skip this step without adding any keywords. |
Categories |
When enabled, the application will ask the user to add categories as part of uploading a new document. The user can skip this step without adding any categories. |
OCR Data Capture |
When enabled, the application will try to capture data with the OCR feature as part of uploading a new document. The application executes OCR data capture only for images and PDF MIME types. |
Cancel wizard |
When enabled, a button that allows the user to cancel the operation is shown in the Wizard pop-up. |
Pagination section

Enabled |
Enable or disable pagination in the file explorer view. |
Page list |
Sets the distinct values that determine the number of elements shown per page. For example, the value "10;25;50;100" sets the possible number of elements per page to 10, 25, 50, or 100. From the user's view, they can choose one of these options. When pagination is enabled, at least one value must be set. Use the character ";" to separate the distinct values. |
Type filter |
When enabled, a type filter is shown, which helps the user show only documents, folders, records, or mails at the same time. * |
