Server plugins

This feature helps the administrator manage the JAR files deployed in the server's plugins directory, used to register plugins in the application (upload, download, and delete).

An OpenKM service restart is required after uploading, overwriting, or deleting a plugin JAR file for the change to take effect.

Server plugins are shown in a table, with the file name, size, and last modified date of every JAR file found in the server plugins directory.

Upload a plugin

  • Click on the Choose JAR file button and select a .jar file.
  • Click on the Upload plugin button.

Uploading a file with the same name as an existing one overwrites it.

Download a plugin

  • Click on the Download icon of the plugin file.

Delete a plugin

  • Click on the Delete icon of the plugin file.
  • Type yes in the confirmation field. The Delete Plugin File button stays disabled until this is typed.
  • Click on the Delete Plugin File button.

Deleting a plugin is irreversible. Deleting a plugin that is currently in use may cause application errors or instability, and any functionality it provides will be lost.
