LogCat
The LogCat feature helps administrators access Tomcat log files directly from the application.
Logs are shown in a table structure:

Action |
The main Tomcat log file is named catalina.log.
This file rotates every night, creating a new catalina.log file and saving older files with the name catalina.log.year-month-day.
Purge all logs
The purge option will clean all Tomcat logs.
- On the top right, click on
Purge button.
Download file as ZIP
- Choose a log file.
- Click on the
download as ZIP icon.
Browse log file
- Choose a log file.
- Click on the
browse icon.
- Use the filter options.
Filter options:

Indicates the row position. By default, 0 indicates the beginning of the document. |

Indicates the row position. By default, -1 indicates the end of the document. |
