Check email

The check email feature helps the administrator check the application’s mail configuration.

Check email

• Fill in the fields
  • From
  • To
  • Subject
  • Content
• Click the Check button

Tip

If the application mail configuration is correctly set, it will return an “OK”; otherwise the cause of the error will be shown.

Caution

If the send.mail.from.user configuration property is set to false, the “From” field will be ignored and the mail.from JavaMail configuration property will be used. Note that, depending on the SMTP server configuration, only the address configured in mail.smtp.user may be able to send messages. This means the user who appears in the “From” field.
