Switch application to read-only mode

It can force the whole repository into read-only mode. This is useful when performing maintenance tasks, or during migration when you wish to keep the system available to your users but want to ensure nobody can change anything.

Caution

If you restart the application, this parameter will be automatically set to true.

Note

For security and performance reasons, when you execute Lucene rebuild indexes, the system will automatically switch to read-only mode until the process is finished. Do not change it manually; wait until it is completed.
