Check text extraction

This feature helps the administrator check the text extraction process.

It can check the extraction process based on:

• A document to be processed.
  • Document UUID ( see tab properties when document is selected on general application user interface ).
  • Document path.
  • Document outside application ( choose a document from file system to be uploaded).
• The list of available text extractors.

Check text extraction

• Choose a document to be processed
  • OpenKM document:
    • Fill field document UUID or document path.
  • External document:
    • Choose a document from the file system to be uploaded.
• Choose one text extractor from the available text extractors list.
• Click on the Check button.

Tip

After the process is completed it will show the text extracted by the selected text extractor.

Caution

The text extraction process can take some seconds or minutes depending on the size of the document to be processed and the file MIME type.
