Rebuild checksums

The Rebuild Checksums feature helps the administrator recalculate the checksum of every document and mail under a given path, using the currently configured checksum algorithm.

Rebuild Procedure

• Set the Path, or click the folder icon to select it from the repository browser.
• Click the Rebuild button.

Caution

This task runs in the background and may take a while, depending on the volume of data under the selected path.

Tip

Once finished, a summary is shown with the number of documents and mail processed, the total size, and the elapsed time.
